July 26: On this day in 1949, drummer Roger Taylor was born.
In addition to possessing considerable chops on his instrument, Taylor also made full use of a particularly wide vocal range in Queen, an act drenched in elaborate harmonies. He also contributed material, including “I’m In Love With My Car,” “Radio Ga-Ga” and “Sheer Heart Attack.”
