Ben E King: R&B legend dies at 76

Seems I’m always writing posts when someone dies! But once again we have to say goodbye to a legend.

Born Benjamin Earl Nelson, he initially joined a doo-wop group called The Five Crowns, who later became The Drifters. His first solo hit was “Spanish Harlem” followed by his most famous offering “Stand by Me”.

Rest in Peace Ben E and thanks for all music and the wonderful things you have done to make peoples lives that much better.
